Holiday Craft Sales

Madison Valley Woman's Club Holiday BazaarShop for one-of-a-kind gifts at the Holter Museum's HoHoHolter Grand Bazaar. More than 100 artists will be exhibiting and selling unique jewelry, hand-blown glass, paintings, handmade scarves and hats, functional ceramics, cards, woven baskets, wooden bowls and cooking utensils, ornaments and stocking stuffers. Gifts for all ages and all price ranges.

The Madison Valley Woman's Club Holiday Bazaar is an annual holiday bazaar and a wonderful opportunity to do your holiday shopping among dozens of handmade gifts offered by local crafts people. Great buys, delicious luncheon and friendly people. Everyone welcome.

The Annual Holiday Christmas Bazaar in Boulder showcases unique Montana made gifts, merchandise and food all available just in time for your holiday shopping. Admission is free.

Come on up to Lincoln for the Lincoln Christmas Bazaar and Tree Lighting. You can see Lincoln lit up in its Christmas Best Specials throughout town at various businesses. Santa's workshop for the kids starts at 10am in the Lincoln School Gym ($5.00). We also have our annual Lincoln Christmas Bazaar at the Community Hall starting at 9am (no door fee). We will have an official tree lighting ceremony at 7 pm at Hooper Park and the Lincoln Community tree will also shine in lights at the Community Hall (No fee). Maps will be available at various businesses for you to drive around and see all the lights throughout town.

Christmas Strolls

Butte Uptown Christmas StrollAt the Anaconda Christmas Stroll, the evening begins with Anaconda's annual tree lighting ceremony. The tree is lit by Santa at 6:00pm with a drawing for Anaconda Bucks, followed by a stroll downtown to special sales, mannequins in store windows, food vendors, and caroling. Santa leads the parade to the visitors center in downtown Anaconda where the children receive free candy. Local merchants sponsor a live mannequin contest and prize giveaways.

The annual Uptown Butte Christmas Stroll is a free event uptown in Butte to kick-off the Holiday shopping season. The event features a parade with high school marching bands, the arrival of Santa Claus, hay rides, art and craft exhibit (indoors), music and vendors on the street and in the historic courthouse. The stroll takes place in the center of the uptown business district, including the county courthouse, antique stores, bars and restaurants.

The Townsend Christmas Stroll is that Norman Rockwell image of a small community in the Spirit of the Season. Children at play, artisans selling their hand produced wares, local entertainers sharpening their thespian chops, the smells of roast beef and sweet confections loft through the crisp December air. Through all of this you hear the soft foot falls of horse-drawn hayride, and the smell of freshly cut Christmas trees.

The Deer Lodge/Powell County Christmas Stroll and Parade of Lights offers good food, parade, cash prizes and gifts. Festive holiday fun!

Philipsburg Yule NightPhilipsburg Yule Night is an evening of holiday spirit, food, music, tree lighting, Santa, arts, crafts and lighted parade. Enjoy small town festive atmosphere among bright decorations and good cheer.

A traditional winter event is the Annual Sheridan Christmas Stroll. Everyone is invited by the area merchants and Greater Ruby Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture. Some of the most popular events include the hayride with carolers on board. Santa makes his debut for photo opportunities.

Come experience Ennis during an old fashioned Christmas stroll! Merchants will be open late, featuring Christmas treats for all. Pictures with Santa, Christmas stories for children, roasted chestnuts, live music, special gallery events and more! The Lions Club Park by the Madison River will be lit for the holiday season. Something for the whole family.

A much anticipated event, the annual Dillon Christmas Stroll is not to be missed. All are invited by the area merchants to enjoy the season with friends and family. The evening begins at Beaverhead County Courthouse with a traditional tree lighting, carolers and Santa's grand arrival. Then tour the many shops and restaurants of downtown Dillon for goodies, gifts and holiday cheer.

Holiday Festivals

Victorian Christmas at Grant-Kohrs National Historic Site

Mark your calendars for Intermountain’s Festival of Trees! You are invited to stroll through Intermountain's Festival of Trees, which includes beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, raffles and more. We have an assortment of children's activities and games in 'Funland' and continuous live entertainment for people of all ages.

This Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation Christmas Festival features decorated Christmas trees for viewing and auction, and is a fundraiser for the Powell County Museum and Arts Foundation. Food, entertainment and a drawing for museum's raffle car to be announced.

The Grant-Kohrs National Historic Site Holiday Open House in Deer Lodge is an excellent afternoon family outing. Music in the ranch house, children's activities in the dairy barn and special demonstrations will be offered. Take a ranger led tour through the 23 room mansion. Free admission year round.
